Male Pedestrian Dead in Accident on White Lane [Bakersfield, CA]

Bakersfield, CA (April 9, 2025) –  A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on White Lane Tuesday night.

The fatal crash happened around 8:25 p.m. on April 8 at the intersection with El Potrero Lane.

Immediately, the authorities responded to the scene and found the man dead.

Investigators said the driver of a red Jeep SUV was traveling east on White Lane while the pedestrian was walking southbound.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

Moreover, BPD said speeding and impairment did not appear to be factors in the fatal crash.
