Lanes Blocked after Multiple Vehicles Collide near Main Drain Road

 
LOST HILLS, CA (December 26, 2018) – Major injuries were sustained Wednesday morning following a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 5.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened shortly before 10:00 AM. Due to unknown circumstances, approximately six to seven vehicles collided near Main Drain Road.
 
Multiple ambulances were dispatched to the incident to render aid to injured victims. An air ambulance also responded to transport seriously injured patients to nearby hospitals. Further updates on the victims’ current medical conditions were not immediately provided.
 
Several lanes were blocked for approximately two hours as authorities and firefighters responded to the crash.
 
An investigation is ongoing to determine the events that led to the collision and to identify possible contributing factors. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact the authorities as soon as possible. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
