NICE, CA (March 19, 2019) – Major injuries were sustained in a multi-car crash on eastbound Highway 20, Tuesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 7:49 AM, near Bartlett Springs Road. Based on an initial report, three vehicles were involved in the pile-up. A blue sedan was weaving in and out of lanes before it crashed head-on into a big rig.
 
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They reported that serious injuries were sustained by the involved motorists.
 
The roadway was partially closed due to the commotion. Cleaning and clearing operations were conducted in the area.
 
An investigation is ongoing to identify the cause of the pile-up and determine liabilities. No other information was released by the authorities.
