Five Vehicles Involved in Crash on Highway 12

 
AMERICAN CANYON, CA (June 28, 2019) – Authorities confirmed that victims sustained major injuries in a crash on westbound Highway 12, Sunday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred near Lynch Road. It happened at approximately 7:18 AM. Based on reports, it started after a big rig dumped gravel in the lanes. A motorcycle hit the debris and down in the roadway. A gray Mercedes-Benz also involved in the incident, while an unknown car left the scene afterward.
 
The paramedics arrived for needed medical attention. They reported that major injuries were sustained in the crash.
 
All lanes were closed while rescue and cleaning operations took place in the area.
 
Police did not release any other information at this time. An investigation by the authorities is on-going.
