Blue Canyon, CA (December 29, 2022) – Just before 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, major injuries were reported in an Interstate 80 collision.

The CHP responded to the scene of traffic collision west of Whitmore.

According to the authorities, a vehicle caught fire and rescuers had to extricate at least one person from the vehicle.

In the meantime, there is no report on how many people or vehicles were involved in the Placer County fiery crash. Officers are still investigating the incident.
