MADERA, CA – One Killed in Head-On Crash at Avenue 15 and Santa Fe Drive

Late Afternoon Head-On Collision in Madera Kills One

 
MADERA, CA (May 16, 2019) – One person was killed following a head-on crash late Thursday afternoon in Madera, CHP officials said.
 
The fatal crash happened around 5:33 p.m. at the intersection of Avenue 15 and Santa Fe Drive.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a red Chrysler and a pickup truck collided head-on for unknown reasons. Officers arrived and located one occupant with major injuries.
 
Paramedics took the patient to Community Regional Medical Center, where the individual was pronounced dead.
 
The name, age and town of residence of the victim were not immediately available pending family notification.
 
This incident is still under investigation.
