Police Car Involved in Collision near Lake Mead Boulevard

 
NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (December 2, 2019) – An LVMPD officer was hospitalized after a crash on Rancho Drive on early Monday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Lake Mead Boulevard. Reports showed that the victim’s patrol vehicle collided with a car in the intersection.
 
Paramedics transported the officer to UMC Trauma Center. The victim’s injuries are said to be non-life-threatening. The driver of the other car was not injured.
 
The intersection closed for several hours as officers investigated the incident.
