Luke Mancebo Dies in Semi Truck and Motorcycle Accident on East Clausen Road

 
Merced, CA (May 19, 2020)– A motorcycle crash was reported on East Clausen Road that claimed the life of 15-year-old Luke Mancebo on Sunday afternoon.
 
On May 17 at about 4:26 p.m., the crash occurred on Bradbury and Clausen Roads east of Hilmar.
 
Authorities immediately arrived at the scene and found the wreckage from the crash.
 
According to the report, the vehicles involved were a motorcycle and a big rig that caused the traffic collision on the road.
 
Luke Mancebo, a 15-year-old boy of Turlock, was pronounced dead at the scene. Furthermore, the boy was not wearing a helmet during the incident.
 
Meanwhile, the big rig driver, a 28-year-old man from Turlock remained at the scene. California Highway Patrol said that he cooperated with the investigation.
 
The police investigation has ruled out drugs and alcohol as factors that contributed to the fatal crash.
