San Ramon Car Accident on 680 Freeway Kills Luis Rabanal

 
SAN RAMON, CA (May 25, 2020) – Saturday night, a two-vehicle crash on 680 Freeway in San Ramon killed Luis Rabanal, the CHP stated.
 
The authorities received reports of the crash at around 8:00 p.m. in the southbound lanes of 680 Freeway, a quarter-mile north of the Bollinger Canyon Road offramp.
 
Furthermore, one of the cars stopped in the far-right traffic lane. Meanwhile, the other vehicle landed on the right-hand shoulder.
 
According to police reports, the victim was pinned in one of the cars when the CHP and paramedics came to the crash scene.
 
As a result of the crash, the authorities shut down southbound lanes of 680 Freeway. However, all lanes have reopened by 9:45 p.m.
 
None of the vehicles involved have been identified by the police.
 
The coroner’s office later identified Luis Rabanal as the deceased, a 40 year old Concord resident.
