Luis Moreno Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Montalvin Drive in Contra Costa

Fatal Pedestrian Accident at Montalvin Drive and Lettia Road

 
CONTRA COSTA, CA (December 7, 2018) – A man was killed following a pedestrian crash Friday morning in Contra Costa.
 
The fatal crash happened around 5:37 a.m. at the intersection of Montalvin Drive and Lettia Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a pickup truck struck a male pedestrian. Emergency crews arrived at the scene and found the pedestrian with fatal injuries. The victim has been identified as Luis Moreno. His age and town of residence were not immediately available.
 
A coroner was called to pick up Moreno’s remains and conduct a full report.
 
The truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
