Luis Cuara Killed in DUI Crash on West Ball Road and South Magnolia Avenue [Anaheim, CA]

Arturo GomezRamirez Arrested in Anaheim DUI Accident That Left Luis Cuara Dead

ANAHEIM, CA (December 6, 2021) – Early Sunday morning, Luis Cuara, 49, died in a three-vehicle crash on West Ball Road and South Magnolia Avenue.

According to Sgt. Shane Carringer of the Anaheim Police Department, the incident happened at around 1:53 a.m. Moreover, it occurred at the intersection of West Ball Road and South Magnolia Avenue.

Reports revealed that a westbound black Nissan Murano failed to stop at a red light. Then, it collided with a black 2016 Honda Accord.
The force of the crash pushed one of the vehicles. As a result, the vehicle collided with a Toyota Camry that was stopped at the red light.

Moreover, responders pronounced a rear seat passenger of the Honda, 49-year-old, Luis V. Cuara, dead at the scene. Paramedics transported three more occupants of the Honda, three 30-year-old men, to a hospital for treatment.

Furthermore, officials arrested the 28-year-old male driver of the Nissan for suspicion of DUI. Authorities later identified the suspect as Arturo Jerson GomezRamirez, of Anaheim.

Meanwhile, the deadly accident remains under investigation.
