11-Year-Old Skateboarder Luciano Henderson Dies in Hit-and-Run Crash on Main Street

 
Hesperia, CA (December 28, 2020) – On Sunday, 11-year-old Luciano Henderson died, while police arrested 25-year-old Nicolas Gonzalez of Hesperia in a skateboard accident on Main Street and Balsam Avenue.
 
The Hesperia accident happened at about 5:54 AM.
 
When responders arrived they found the boy suffering from fatal injuries. The involved driver fled the scene after the incident.
 
Deputies identified Gonzalez as the driver involved in the hit-and-run crash. They arrested Gonzalez while the involved vehicle was located at a business in the city of Riverside.
 
Then, they booked him at West Valley Detention Center for felony violation of California Vehicle Code 20001(a). Similarly, for fleeing the Scene of a Collision, which resulted in serious bodily injury or death.
 
Meanwhile, Main Street was closed for several hours. It was reopened after crash documentation was done.
