Person Dies in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Collision in Los Angeles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (December 31, 2018) – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver Thursday night near South Centinela Avenue and Venice Boulevard.
 
Just before 9 p.m., the person, who remains unidentified, was hit near the intersection under unknown circumstances.
 
The pedestrian died at the scene and the vehicle involved was described as a black SUV; however, an in-depth description of the SUV or driver was not immediately available, according to Officer Rosario Herrera of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section.
 
Authorities are continuing their search for the driver involved in this crash.
