LOS ANGELES, CA – One Trapped in Rollover Crash at Hamilton Avenue and Del Amo Boulevard

2 Vehicles Collide, One Overturns on Hamilton Avenue in Los Angeles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (November 27, 2018) – One person was trapped following a rollover crash Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Hamilton Avenue and Del Amo Boulevard.
 
The crash happened around 12:46 p.m. involving a dark Toyota Sienna and a gray Volvo SUV.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two vehicles collided for unknown reasons. The impact caused the SUV to overturn, blocking the roadway.
 
Fire officials responded to the scene and located one party who was trapped inside a vehicle. They worked on the extrication and took the patient to a hospital. The extent of injuries sustained and the condition of the individual were not immediately available.
 
There were no descriptions of any vehicular damages but towing services were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
 
It is unknown if drugs and/or alcohol were contributing factors of the crash. Authorities will release additional information as the investigation proceeds.
 
To avoid traffic accidents, always remember to pull into traffic slowly. Be mindful with other motorists sharing your lanes and watch out for red light runners. Keep your eyes scanning the area ahead and beware of blind spots.
