Lorilee Gutierrez Hospitalized and Zachary Johnson Arrested After Crash on Highway 135 in Morgan County

Morgan County, MO (October 25, 2024) – Lorilee Gutierrez and Zachary Johnson sustained injuries in a crash on Highway 135.

The report states that Zachary Johnson, 33, from Lebanon, Missouri, was driving a 2001 Ford Ranger northbound on Highway 135 near Westwood Drive when he crossed the center line. 

After overcorrecting twice, the Ford overturned.

Lorilee Gutierrez, 54, also from Lebanon and a passenger in the vehicle, sustained serious injuries, while Johnson suffered moderate injuries. 

Neither was wearing a seatbelt, and both were airlifted to University Hospital.

According to an arrest report, Johnson faces charges of driving with a suspended license and failing to stay on the right side of the road. 

An MU Health Care spokesperson reported that Johnson received treatment and was released, while Gutierrez remains in serious condition.
