Driver Arrested Following Hit-and-Run Crash in Haltom City
Haltom City, TX (April 9, 2025) – 54-year-old Loralea Fox was fatally injured following a hit-and-run crash on NE 28th Street Saturday morning.
The fatal crash happened past 4 a.m. in the 5000 block area.
According to the officers, Fox was walking westbound when she was hit by a westbound truck from behind. The truck driver fled without providing aid.
Responding officers located Loralea Fox unresponsive with critical injuries on the roadway. She died at 4:18 a.m.
The authorities arrested 20-year-old Adrian Anthony Rodriguez on Tuesday afternoon in Oklahoma.
Adrian Anthony Rodriguez is facing a collision involving a death charge. Officers said more charges could be added pending further investigation.
