Long Beach Boulevard 2-Vehicle Crash Critically Injures 1 [Long Beach, CA]

Long Beach, CA (April 27, 2025) – A person was critically injured following a Long Beach Boulevard 2-vehicle crash early Sunday morning.

It was before 1:30 a.m. when the collision between a gray Kia Rio sedan and a black Honda Civic Sport sedan happened. 

According to the investigators, a vehicle carrying five women was traveling east on Ocean Boulevard. As the vehicle turned left onto Long Beach Boulevard, it was hit by a vehicle occupied by a single male.

The impact of the collision caused the Kia to crash into a traffic pole in the center median while the Honda landed on a sidewalk across the street.

Immediately, the rescuers responded to the scene and rushed six people to the hospital. A woman was transported in critical but stable condition.

Moreover, the accident report stated that both vehicles sustained severe damage to the front ends and a large amount of auto debris was scattered across the intersection.

Troopers are investigating the cause of the collision. According to them, speed and impaired driving may have played roles in the collision.
