Lincoln Pickup Truck Driver Wanted for Hit-and-Run Crash into Buy Low Market

 
LOMITA, CA (May 3, 2018) – Four people were reportedly injured as a vehicle crashed into the Buy Low Market on Pacific Coast Highway, on Thursday evening.
 
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the crash happened around 8:30 PM at the 2130 block of Pacific Coast Highway. A Lincoln pickup truck with a white camper shell crashed into the front of the market, resulting in shattered glass, scattered produce, and four people injured.
 
The driver immediately backed his truck out from the store before fleeing the seeing and heading down Narbonne Avenue. The victims were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment and evaluation of their injuries, which were described to be minor. There is no update on their current medical condition.
 
Authorities continue to search for the hit-and-run driver, who is described to be a white or a Hispanic man. He is facing charges of felony hit-and-run. Witnesses or anyone with relevant information is encouraged to contact the police by calling the Lomita Sheriff’s Station at (310) 539-1661 or Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS (8477).
