Logan Lyman Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Missouri Flat Road in Placerville

3 Vehicles Involved in Deadly Crash at Missouri Flat Road and Golden Center Drive

 
PLACERVILLE, CA (April 23, 2019) – A young man was killed following a multi-vehicle crash Tuesday evening in Placerville.
 
The fatal crash happened around 7:43 p.m. at the intersection of Missouri Flat Road and Golden Center Drive.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2002 Toyota was traveling at a high rate of speed on Missouri Flat Road and flew through a stop light at Golden Center Drive. It then crossed over into oncoming traffic and collided with a Porsche and a Subaru.
 
The driver of the Toyota, an 18-year-old Logan Michael Lyman of Placerville, was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
The other two drivers, Judy Prescott, 53, of Garden Valley, and Nancy Demetris, 50, of Shingle Springs, were not seriously hurt.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were contributing factors in the crash. CHP is still investigating the incident.
