Linh Thuy Nguyen of San Diego Dies in Fiery Crash on Interstate 15 [Halloran Springs, CA]

Halloran Springs, CA (December 30, 2021) – On Christmas Day, Linh Thuy Nguyen of San Diego lost her life in a fiery crash on Interstate 15.

The fatal crash took place at about 11:50 p.m. on the northbound freeway, north of Halloran Summit Road.

The investigators said a 42-year-old San Diego man was driving a 2000 Lexus ES300 at an unknown speed.

The vehicle veered to its right and crossed the right shoulder. Afterward, the vehicle entered the open desert terrain and overturned. 

The Lexus finally caught fire and became fully engulfed.

Moreover, a passing motorist stopped and removed the driver from the vehicle. The good samaritan found Nguyen on the ground adjacent to the Lexus.

Unfortunately, Nguyen lost her life at the scene at 12:40 a.m. 

Meanwhile, the rescuers rushed the driver to University Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV for major injuries.

The authorities said they do not consider alcohol and/or drugs as factors in this crash.
