BURLINGAME, CA (February 1, 2021) – Sunday night, Liezl Gonzales, 34, died in a rollover crash on Highway 101 and Millbrae Avenue.
 
The authorities received a report of the crash just after 11:55 p.m. Moreover, it happened on southbound Highway 101 south of Millbrae Avenue, just before the Broadway off-ramp.
 
According to reports, a southbound Honda steered to the right and struck an impact attenuator. Then, it overturned and landed on its roof in the slow lane.
 
Afterward, a Land Rover hit the wrecked car and threw off its driver. Then, she struck a concrete barrier.
 
As a result, the driver died at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver of the Land Rover sustained minor cuts to the wrist.
 
At this time, the authorities say the deceased was a San Francisco local.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities shut down all southbound lanes north of Broadway at 12:22 a.m. Sunday. Then, at 2:15 a.m., they reopened the No. 1 lane. By 5:30 a.m., all lanes were completely reopened.
