SACRAMENTO, CA (September 26, 2021) – Saturday night, Lien Dang, 87, suffered fatal injuries in a pedestrian accident on Lemon Hill Avenue near Stockton Boulevard.

According to reports, a car struck and seriously injured the elderly woman. Then, the crash led to the closure of Lemon Hill Avenue, between Stockton Boulevard and Lemon Parkway.

Reports confirmed that the vehicle that struck Ms. Dang fled the scene shortly after. At this time, the authorities haven’t clarified whether the person walked in the street or on the sidewalk.

Ms. Dang’s family later stated that the mother and grandmother headed towards South Sacramento to feed the homeless at the time of the deadly crash.
