Liem Bui of Santa Ana Dies in Bicycle Crash on Euclid Avenue [Fountain Valley, CA]

Fountain Valley, CA (January 15, 2022) – On Saturday, a 71-year-old bicyclist, Liem Bui of Santa Ana, died, while police arrested 32-year-old Amanda Martin of Fountain Valley, in a bicycle crash on Euclid Avenue.

The fatal crash happened at about 5:39 a.m. north of Heil Avenue.

Reports said Bui was riding his bicycle when he was struck by Martin. Unfortunately, he died at the crash scene.

Martin immediately fled the scene after the incident. Luckily, the authorities were able to identify her. They found the involved vehicle in Westminster with Martin in the driver’s seat.

Moreover, the officers arrested Martin on suspicion of felony driving under the influence, felony hit-and-run, and vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
