LEBEC, CA – Pedestrian Killed after Struck by Multiple Vehicles on 5 Freeway at Grapevine Road

Morning Pedestrian Accident on 5 Freeway in Lebec Ends in Fatality

 
LEBEC, CA (January 4, 2019) – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by multiple vehicles Friday morning on 5 Freeway in Lebec.
 
The fatal incident happened around 5:51 a.m. along the northbound lanes of the freeway at Grapevine Road.
 
Details are sparse on what exactly transpired, but a white Ford pickup truck with a trailer, a red Chevrolet Camaro, a semi truck and a motorcycle were recovered in the crash scene.
 
The pedestrian was found lying on the roadway and a large amount of debris was scattered in traffic lanes.
 
A coroner’s personnel was called and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
 
All northbound lanes of 5 Freeway were shut down for the on-scene investigation.
