Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Collision with Vehicle near Skypark Drive

 
TORRANCE, CA (November 27, 2018) – A Lawndale man was injured Tuesday afternoon following a motorcycle crash on Crenshaw Boulevard. The identity of the 27-year-old man was not disclosed to the public at this time.
 
According to the Torrance Police Department, the incident happened near Skypark Drive, shortly after 2:00 PM. A northbound dark gray 2002 Toyota Camry attempted a left turn when it collided with a southbound motorcycle.
 
The motorcyclist was treated by Torrance Fire Department personnel at the scene before he was taken to the hospital with major injuries. Further updates on his current medical condition were not immediately provided. Meanwhile, the 82-year-old woman driving the Toyota remained and cooperated with investigators.
 
Alcohol and drugs were ruled out as contributing factors in the crash, which remains under investigation. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
