Lavonne Mullin Injured in DUI Crash on Highway 49 [Nevada City, CA]

Nevada City, CA (July 21, 2022) – On Tuesday morning, Lavonne Mullin, 67, of Nevada City sustained injuries while officers arrested Cole Paulson, 40, also of Nevada City, in a DUI crash on Highway 49.

According to the investigators, Mullin was driving a vehicle on the freeway, approaching the area near Old Downieville Highway.

Suddenly, Paulson was driving his vehicle from the opposite side and swerved into her path. His vehicle side-swiped Mullin’s vehicle.

Immediately, the paramedics rushed Lavonne Mullin to a hospital with minor injuries.

Meanwhile, the authorities arrested Cole Paulson on two counts of DUI. Records say he was released on $10,000 in bond at Nevada County Jail.
