Three Killed and Several Injured in Multi-Car Collision near Aha Macav Parkway
NEEDLES, CA (July 29, 2018) – Three people were killed Sunday morning following a multi-vehicle crash near Aha Macav Parkway.
As per reports, the fatal incident took place shortly before 9 AM near mile marker 12. A 2018 Dodge Caravan was southbound on Needles Highway when it failed to negotiate a right-hand turn and struck three northbound vehicles.
The impact killed the Dodge driver, 34-year-old Window Rock, Arizona resident Lavon Salabye, 48-year-old Anaheim resident Dolores Garcia, and the unidentified driver of the third vehicle.
Several people were hospitalized after suffering unspecified injuries.
An investigation is being conducted by the Needles office of the California Highway Patrol. No additional details have been disclosed to the public at this time.
