Laurie Lockhart Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Boulder Highway
Las Vegas, NV (December 15, 2020) – On December 13, 51-year-old Laurie Lockhart died four days after a pedestrian accident on Boulder Highway.
The fatal accident took place on December 9 at about 6:38 p.m. on the intersection with Indios Avenue.
35-year-old Rene Ortiz was driving a 2014 Nissan Frontier when his vehicle accidentally struck Lockhart who was crossing the street against a “do not walk” sign.
The front right side of the vehicle struck the right side of Lockhart.
Immediately, rescuers took Lockhart to Sunrise Trauma for lower extremity injuries. She was alert and talking after the crash.
On the other hand, Ortiz stayed on-scene and did not show signs of impairment.
However, four days after the crash, Lockhart died at Sunrise.
