Larry Bandeau Dead after Palm Desert Motorcycle Accident
PALM DESERT, CA (June 18, 2019) — A man identified as 47-year-old Larry Bandeau died after a motorcycle crash on Saturday, June 15.
According to Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Rod LaBrecque, the collision happened at around 6:49 a.m. on Monterey Avenue and Shadow Ridge Road.
The initial investigation determined that Bandeau traveled northbound on Monterey Avenue. Then his motorcycle crashed with the Toyota, which had turned left from southbound Monterey Avenue onto Shadow Ridge Road.
Emergency responders rushed Bandeau to Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage. He succumbed to his injuries at 7:27 a.m., the coroner’s office stated.
The SUV driver, a 28-year-old woman from Thousand Palms, stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigator.
LaBrecque said that alcohol does not appear to be a contributing factor in this incident.
