Auto Accident on Santa Monica Freeway Shuts Down Lanes
SANTA MONICA, CA (August 25, 2020) – On Monday, lanes were closed after a two-vehicle crash on the Santa Monica Freeway.
According to reports, the crash occurred between a white Lexus and white Toyota Rav-4 occurred around 1:50 p.m.
Due to the crash, the authorities issued a SigAlert and three lanes have shut down just after 2:00 p.m. However, all the lanes of westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway reopened around 2:30 p.m.
The surrounding area on Santa Monica Freeway was closed off for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary investigation. However, the roadway has since reopened to traffic.
