Five Vehicles Involved in Collision near La Paz Road

MISSION VIEJO, CA (November 10, 2018) – A couple of northbound lanes were closed after a multi-car crash on 5 Freeway, late Saturday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident was reported at approximately 10:52 AM, just south of La Paz Road.

Officials recovered five vehicles at the scene. Reports shows that a Scion and a sedan were found facing the wrong way, while a Jeep Wrangler was recovered at the right side of the road. It was not clear what caused the pile-up.

The paramedics were requested for needed medical assistance. They had not yet released a report regarding any injuries sustained in the incident.

The HOV and the fast lanes were closed while authorities worked to clear the area and give way to other motorists. Officers ordered a clean-up at the scene and began their investigation, but no additional information has been released to the public at this time.
