Lanes Closed after Car Crash on 405 Freeway [Torrance, CA]

Two Vehicles Involved in Collision near Artesia Boulevard

TORRANCE, CA (December 7, 2018) – Lanes were closed after a car crash on northbound 405 Freeway, Friday evening.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 6:37 PM, just north of Artesia Boulevard. Based on their report, there were two vehicles involved in the incident. The parties were identified as a white Ford Focus and a black vehicle.

The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They had not yet released a report regarding the condition of the involved motorists.

A SigAlert was issued closing the northbound lanes, as well as the No. 4 and 5 lanes. Cleaning and clearing operations were performed in the area. There is an ongoing investigation to determine contributing factors. No additional information has been released to the public.
