Crash on Winchester Canyon Road Closes Lanes on Highway 101

 
San Diego, CA (March 26, 2021) – A rollover crash on Winchester Canyon Road led to closure of lanes on Thursday night.
 
The incident took place on March 25 on Winchester Canyon Road at about 7:52 p.m.
 
California Highway Patrol reported that the incident involved an RV which appeared to have collided with another vehicle. As a result, the vehicle rolled onto its roof in the center divider.
 
Due to the impact of the crash, officials closed all lanes of the northbound freeway for traffic around 8 p.m. However, after half an hour, the number two lane reopened.
 
As of today, it is unknown what events led up to the collision. The investigation remains ongoing.
 
Furthermore, the number of injured patients is also unknown.
