Skydiving Accident near Skylark Field Airport in Lake Elsinore
LAKE ELSINORE, CA (February 16, 2019) – Two skydivers were injured after landing on top of a building Saturday afternoon in an industrial park in Lake Elsinore.
The incident happened around 3:30 p.m. in the 20000 block of Cereal Street, which runs adjacent to Skylark Field Airport, home of Skydive Elsinore.
Authorities said the skydivers went off course and landed on the roof of the building. One suffered moderate injuries and the other had minor injuries. Both were taken to a hospital for proper treatment.
It is still unknown why the victims went off course. The incident is still under investigation.
