6 People Hospitalized in Lake Balboa Collision

 
LAKE BALBOA, CA (November 27, 2018) – Six people were injured Sunday evening following a multi-vehicle collision in the 16900 block of Strathern Street near Balboa Boulevard.
 
The crash happened around 7:15 p.m., according to fire department spokeswoman Amy Bastman. The precise number of vehicles involved in the crash was unclear, but people were reportedly trapped in at least two cars and required extrication by firefighters.
 
Six people were injured, three of whom were in critical condition and the outstanding three in serious condition.
 
The details and events leading to the crash were unavailable, but authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the circumstances.
