Navasota, CA (December 13, 2023) – Kylie Morgan, a 21-year-old Canyon Lake woman, was killed following a Highway 105 collision Monday afternoon.
The fatal collision happened at 2:45 p.m. in the area of Grimes County Road 423.
Investigators said a 2019 Hyundai Elantra driven by Morgan was stopped on CR-423 and was preparing to turn onto the highway.
At the same time, a 2018 Dodge Ram pickup was eastbound on Highway 105, when the Hyundai pulled out. Officer said the Hyundai turned in front of the Dodge which led to the collision.
Kylie Morgan was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Navasota where she died.
The pickup’s driver and passenger were not injured in the collision.
