Knoxville Man Hurt in Fatal Rear-End Crash on I-55 [Festus, MO]

Truck Collision on Interstate 55 Near Festus Claims Life of Perryville Man

Festus, MO (March 19, 2025) – A 50-year-old Knoxville man was hurt and a 49-year-old Perryville man was killed in a rear-end crash on I-55.

According to authorities, that the fatal crash happened at around 7:15 a.m. on the northbound side of I-55, just north of the Danby Road overpass.

Reports say that Perryville man lost his life after his truck crashed into the back of another truck on Interstate 55 Monday morning. The collision occurred

The other driver, the Knoxville man, sustained minor injuries and received medical treatment at a nearby hospital.

Authorities have not yet released the names of those involved.
