San Luis Obispo DUI Crash Injures Kimberly Valois and Jimmy Dickerson

 
San Luis Obispo, CA (October 27, 2020) – On Sunday, 50-year-old Jimmy Dickerson and 57-year-old Kimberly Valois were injured in a DUI crash on Highway 46.
 
The incident took place at bout 8:30 P.M.
 
70-year-old Fidel Lopez of San Miguel was driving eastbound on Highway 46 when he attempted to turn left onto northbound Highway 41 at the Cholame Y.
 
At the same time, Dickerson was traveling westbound on Highway 46 at 55 mph.
 
Lopez, who was intoxicated at the time, crashed into the 2008 Jeep Wrangler driver by Dickerson. His truck blocked Highway 46 lanes, while Dickerson’s Jeep spun to the right shoulder of Highway 46 and stopped facing east.
 
Immediately, the rescuers rushed Dickerson and Valois, his passenger, to Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton for treatment of their injuries.
 
Dickerson sustained moderate injuries and Valois’s injuries were mild.
 
Meanwhile, the rescuers took Lopez to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo for major injuries. The authorities determined he was under the influence of alcohol and arrested him.
