Kimberly Snyder Arrested after Fatal Crash on State Route 88 and Ousby Road [Jackson, CA]

Fatality Reported in Jackson Accident on State Route 88 and Ousby Road

 
JACKSON, CA (February 1, 2023) – Monday, authorities arrested Kimberly Snyder after a fatal crash on State Route 88 and Ousby Road.
 
The incident happened as a Subaru Outback driver drove east on SR-88, west of Ousby Road.
 
Meanwhile, Kimberly Snyder drove her Jeep Compass westbound on SR-88, west of Ousby Road. As she traveled 50 miles per hour, she approached the Subaru’s location.
 
However, Snyder drove while intoxicated and she went across the painted double yellow lines. As she approached the eastbound lane of SR-88, she crashed head-on with the front of the Subaru.
 
Then, the impact led to major front-end damage to both vehicles and the Subaru catching fire.
 
Kimberly Snyder suffered moderate injuries from the crash.
 
Meanwhile, officers noted that the 10-year-old juvenile in the right front seat failed to wear his seatbelt properly. As a result, the juvenile sustained major life-threatening injuries, and responders airlifted him to UC Davis Medical Center.
 
Moreover, responders transported Snyder via ground ambulance to Sutter Amador Hospital. Eventually, they transferred Snyder to UC Davis Medical Center.
 
Also, responders airlifted the Subaru driver to Sutter Roseville Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
