Kevin Johnson Involved in Fatal Crash on Highway 1 and Highway 156 [Monterey, CA]

1 Dead in Monterey Car Accident on Highway 1

 
MONTEREY, CA (June 28, 2020) – Friday afternoon, a fatal crash involving Kevin Johnson occurred on Highway 1 near Monterey.
 
According to reports, the CHP responded after 3:00 p.m. on northbound Highway 1 near Highway 156. Reports revealed that a white 2019 Ford F250 hit the rear of a blue 2013 VW Tiguan that had slowed down for unidentified reasons.
 
Responders transported the VW driver to Natividad Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. At this time, the Monterey County Coroner’s Office withholds the identity of the deceased due to pending family notification.
 
Meanwhile, a 49-year-old pickup driver, Kevin Johnson of Ellijay, Georgia, didn’t suffer any injuries.
 
Furthermore, the authorities do not believe that alcohol and drugs played a role in the fatal crash.
