Kevin Farris Killed, Mitchell Hernandez Involved on 14 Freeway Big Rig Crash

 
Lancaster, CA (November 24, 2020) – On Monday, 26-year-old Kevin Farris of Rosamond died, while 32-year-old Mitchell Hernandez of Coachella, was involved in a rear-end crash on the 14 Freeway.
 
The Lancaster crash happened at about 9:20 p.m. near Avenue K-8.
 
CHP said Farris was driving a 2008 Infiniti when for unknown reasons, his car struck the rear of a 2020 Freightliner that was hauling a flatbed trailer.
 
Rescuers rushed Farris to a hospital, where he died.
 
Meanwhile, Hernandez, the big rig driver, did not get injured from the rear end crash.
 
CHP said alcohol and/or drugs are suspected to be a factor in this incident.
