Eagleville Man Faces Murder Charge After Fatal Crash on Highway 69
Eagleville, MO (February 6, 2025) – 27-year-old Kenzie Doll of Bethany tragically died in a horrific traffic collision on Highway 69.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the deadly crash happened at about 5 p.m. on Friday, January 31 near North Highway 69 and West 190th Street.
Reports say that emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle crash , about two miles south of Eagleville.
Authorities say that 22-year-old Jagger J. Moad was driving a 1992 Chrysler Lebanon recklessly when the car skidded south on the highway.
At the same time, a 64-year-old man driving a 2004 Ford F-150 pulled out of a driveway into the northbound lanes.
Moad’s vehicle crossed the center line and collided head-on with the Ford. The impact forced Moad’s car off the east side of the highway, while the truck stopped facing east in the northbound lane.
Emergency responders found two passengers inside Moad’s vehicle, neither of whom had been wearing seatbelts. Tragically, Kenzie D. Doll died at the scene. An 18-year-old male passenger suffered life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to a Kansas City hospital, where his current condition remains unknown.
Moad and the driver of the Ford sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Following the investigation, authorities charged Moad with second-degree murder, driving without a valid license, reckless driving, operating a vehicle without proper insurance, and failing to display a license plate.
On Monday, a judge issued a warrant for his arrest with a $250,000 bond. Once released from the hospital, Moad is expected to be booked into jail. His initial arraignment is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5.

The Importance of Legal Representation
If you’ve lost a loved one in a fatal accident, it’s essential to seek legal representation as soon as possible. A wrongful death attorney can guide you through the legal complexities, gather crucial evidence, and handle communications with insurance companies. With the right legal support, your family can focus on grieving and healing, knowing that your rights are being protected.
It’s also important to understand that there are time limits in which legal action can be taken in a wrongful death case. This is known as the statute of limitations. If this deadline passes, the family may lose the opportunity to file a lawsuit, which could prevent them from holding the responsible party accountable and receiving the compensation they deserve for their loss.
Missing the statute of limitations could leave you without the financial support you need and deny you the chance to seek justice for your loved one.
