Kent Lang and Francisco Lopez Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash on Old River Road

 
West Sacramento, CA (September 11, 2020) – Wednesday evening, a 75-year-old Kent Lang and Francisco Lopez died in a two-vehicle crash on Old River Road.
 
The incident happened shortly after 6:00 p.m. on September 9. Dispatched officers located a 2017 Ford F-150 pickup truck driven by Lang and a 2016 Ford Fusion operated by Lopez.
 
Reportedly, Lopez was driving at high speed, swerved off into the southbound lane and crashed into the front of the pickup truck.
 
The CHP pronounced Lopez dead at the scene. Lang was transported to UC Davis Medical Center, where he died while undergoing treatment.
 
Moreover, a 73-year-old woman, a passenger in Lang’s vehicle, was also admitted at UC Davis Medical Center with moderate injuries.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
