Kenneth Johnson Detained Following DUI Accident at Union Avenue and Brundage Lane
BAKERSFIELD, CA (February 14, 2020)—A DUI three-vehicle accident at Union Avenue and Brundage Lane sent two people to the hospital Tuesday evening.
The crash occurred around 7 p.m. at the intersection of Union Avenue and Brundage Lane.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, officers arrested Kenneth Johnson on suspicion of driving under the influence. He is said to have caused the crash.
In the preliminary investigation, police determined that his truck collided with a white Chevrolet Camaro. This then caused the Camaro to ram into a third vehicle.
As a result, the Camaro driver suffered moderate injuries while the third person walked away unscathed.
Johnson, also injured, underwent an investigation that confirmed his inebriated state.
