Denton, TX (January 12, 2023) – At about 3 p.m. on Sunday, Kelsey Harris, 42, of Krum, dies in an FM 1173 head-on collision.

According to a news release from the Texas Department of Public Safety, the driver of a westbound pickup on FM 1173 veered into the eastbound lane to avoid striking stopped traffic. However, the pickup collided head-on with an eastbound SUV.

Kelsey Harris, the SUV driver, succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
