SR 17 Traffic Collision Injures Bicyclist
Spanaway, WA (November 26, 2022) – At around 7:45 p.m. on Friday, the authorities arrested Kayle Millen, 36, of Tacoma, in a State Route 17 DUI hit-and-run crash injuring a bicyclist.
The Washington State Patrol said Kayle Millen was northbound on the freeway when she crashed into a 48-year-old bicyclist near 216th Street.
Then, after colliding with the bicyclist, Millen continued north and rear-ended a truck at 8th Avenue East.
Immediately, the paramedics rushed the victim to Tacoma General Hospital with serious injuries.
Responding officers discovered two minors were riding inside of Millens car during the SR 17 traffic collision, and nobody was wearing seatbelt.
Officers arrested Millen and charged her with driving under the influence, vehicular assault, and two counts of child endangerment.
