NORTHLAKE, TX (October 26, 2024) – Wednesday afternoon, Kawaljweet Kaur died in a tragic two-vehicle crash on 17000 Interstate 35 West.

The incident happened around 4:42 p.m. at the 17000 block of Interstate 35 West northbound lanes.

Reports said a 2010 Toyota failed to slow down for traffic and rear-ended a 2019 Fiat 500.

Paramedics rushed an occupant of the Fiat, identified as 63-year-old Kaur, to a hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

Authorities said that the extent of injuries sustained by other parties were unclear.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the Northlake Police Department continued investigating the crash.
