Driver Flees after San Diego Auto Accident on Harbor Drive

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (August 11, 2020) – Saturday morning, a truck hit Kathleen Gleason in her Lyft on Harbor Drive.
 
The incident began at about 9:30 a.m. on N. Harbor Drive at Lee Court. According to reports, a white truck crashed into the back of a Ford F-350 and then sideswiped a sedan.
 
Afterward, the truck driver fled the scene, leaving a cloud of white smoke while the driver-side front tire bent sideways. Witnesses revealed that the driver first went east before turning around at McCain Road and driving west.
 
Kathleen Gleason confirmed that the truck driver was determined to flee quickly. According to her, she was dropping off a passenger to the airport when the truck hit her. Fortunately, some concerned motorists gave the passenger a lift the rest of the way,
 
Gleason added that the authorities managed to catch and detain the suspect driver.
