Houston Deadly Crash Results in Injuries
Houston, TX (November 23, 2024) – Harris County Precinct 5 Deputy Katherine Hutson and her daughter, Kacey, were killed in a Katy Freeway collision Friday morning.
The deadly three-vehicle crash happened yesterday near 6-10.
Investigators said a gray Mazda 3 crashed into a white Chevrolet Impala which had its hazard lights on. The Impala then crashed into a stationary truck, which was engulfed in flames due to the impact.
Sadly, Katherine Hutson and Kacey were killed inside the Impala.
The Mazda’s driver remained at the scene while the passenger was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Similarly, the worker was also transported to a nearby hospital.
Moreover, the authorities arrested the suspected driver, Omar Jose Alvarado, Friday night. He has been charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter.
Our hearts are with the family and loved ones of Katherine Hutson and Kacey. May you find courage during this difficult time.
