Taylor Madison Arrested in DUI Collision on U.S. Route 95
Henderson, NV (September 30, 2022) On Monday morning, 18-year-old Katarina Johnson dies in a 2-vehicle wrong-way crash on U.S. Route 95.
Authorities say that the fatal collision happened around 12:30 a.m. on southbound on U.S. 95. Reports say that Taylor Madison was driving a southbound sedan that struck a sedan Johnson was driving.
According to Nevada State Police, Madison veered into the northbound lane and the front of her vehicle struck the front of the sedan. The sedan spun clockwise and entered a east paved shoulder. Meanwhile, Madison’s vehicle ended up facing southeast in the travel lanes.
Officials pronounced Johnson dead at the scene. Paramedics transported Madison to the Siena campus of St. Rose Dominican Hospital in Henderson.
Afterward, police booked Madison into Clark County Detention Center for DUI resulting in death.
